Before leaving, Quan Chi suggested that I should enter Edenia tonight. I’d pretend to be back alive, friendly, as Shinnok’s troop would invade with Tanya's help. So, I just entered the palace. And, all of sudden, Jade saw me. She comes to me. We stare at each other, rage in both eyes.

Jade asks who I am. I want to say I’m her friend, but the mask talks for me: I attack her. A mortal fight begins. When I finally rise my fan, ready to slice his head off, my body levitates with a green aura. As Ermac holds me, Sindel uses her final resources to cast a spell over me. The mask explodes.

My mind and memories turn back. But I wasn’t free yet. A part of Quan Chi’s force would only be over when he was dead. So I told my fellows about the dark plans. We prepared to fight Shinnok’s menace. And I just hope that I can save my soul."
