"After being defeated by Sub-Zero, I left Lin Kuei camp with some allies. We wandered for days, until Quan Chi came to me. He suggested a way to enhance our powers: we had to find an abandonrd warehouse in the middle of Chicago. There was a person who thought himself hidden from Shinnok there. Quan Chi told that could be my hideout if I killed the traitor. It was Kano. We surprised him and slaughtered him. Before dying, Kano told me Black Dragon would never support the fallen god. His plans were to revive Shao Kahn by using nanotechnology.
The warehouse was a cyberfactory. In fact, with Kano's nanotechno machines, I upgraded all my systems and my companions. So I decided to create an army of cyberwarriors to serve Quan Chi. I utterly desired vengeance against Kuai Liang.
I named my army as Tekunin, meaning "Technical Unindentified Ninjas". I came back to Lin Kuei camp just in time to see Sub-Zero and Sareena defeating Frost. I took her back and saved her by turning her into machine. Frost became my greatest ally, as vengeful as me."
